Let's Teach for Mastery, Not Test Scores

In his TED Talk, educator Sal Khan argues that the current education system often rushes students through their education without ensuring they have mastered the basics. He likens this to building a house on an unfinished foundation and suggests that students should be taught for mastery, rather than just to achieve high test scores. Khan proposes a new approach to education where students are allowed to learn and master concepts at their own pace with personalized instruction, utilizing technology and other resources. This approach would enable struggling students to catch up and thrive, leading to better outcomes for all students.
